Kroyan 5-for-6 for Stars
Tuesday, August 17th , 2021
The Hollywood Stars stopped the Indianapolis Eagles by a score of 11-4 at Eagles Stadium, with the lion's share of the credit going to left fielder Aharon Kroyan. The 23-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits.
"Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Kroyan said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard."
Kroyan did just that in his 6 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Eagles.
"Not much that I can say," offered Indianapolis manager Pete DuBay. "He just hammered the heck out of us."
Aharon Kroyan singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Aaron Daniels in the 6th, hit a two-run home run off Ray Dappen in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
This year, Kroyan is hitting at a .281 pace with 21 home runs and 76 RBIs. He has played in 117 games and scored 77 times.
