Year Over for 23ers Fernandez Saturday, June 17th , 2023 The season is ending on a bad note for Juan Fernandez, starting pitcher for the Fountain Hills 23ers. It was announced today that he will miss the rest of the season because of injury. Fernandez was hurt against the Toronto Trash Pandas while throwing a pitch. He suffered a torn flexor tendon in his elbow and will be out for at least 8 months. This season in 14 starts, Juan Fernandez has a record of 2-5 with 91 strikeouts in 77 innings and a 4.68 ERA. |
