Charleston-Tampa Bay Brawl, Hutchison and Dean Suspended Sunday, May 25th , 2025 After an intense confrontation, both the Sea Dogs Tim Hutchison and the Captains Mike Dean were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Charleston-Tampa Bay game. Tim Hutchison will miss 3 games, while Mike Dean was suspended for 7 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Tim Hutchison commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." This season, Hutchison is batting .230 with 9 home runs. His totals include 34 RBIs and 32 runs scored. This season, Dean has chalked up a 5.06 ERA while ringing up no saves with 1 win and no losses.
