Indianapolis, Boston Trade Players Thursday, July 18th , 2019 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Eagles announced today the acquisition of 25-year old minor league 2B Cliff Catalano from the Boston Whistlers in exchange for 26-year old LHP Joel Daniels. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Eagles, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." This year Daniels has made 15 starts, thrown 102 innings, fanned 78 batters and walked 15. His won-lost record is 6-6 with a 3.53 ERA. |
