Another Setback for Phoenix's Cory Sperber
Wednesday, July 21st , 2021
Phoenix second baseman Cory Sperber has suffered a setback in his recovery from a strained oblique. According to Gladiators officials, he will be out of action for 4 weeks.

"Doctors are concerned with the rate of healing and have decided that Sperber will need additional time in rehab before he will be cleared to play," one team spokesman explained to reporters.

In 76 games this year, Sperber has posted a .278 average and put up these numbers: no home runs, 24 RBIs and 24 runs scored.
