Year Over for Shiners Trombley Wednesday, June 7th , 2023 When Charleston starting pitcher Jared Trombley was taken out of the game, the crowd at the Shiners-Reapers game went silent as they could tell that it was a serious injury. That was confirmed today by doctors when they revealed that Trombley had sustained a stretched elbow ligament and will be out for about 11-12 months. So far in 13 appearances this season, Trombley has recorded 6 wins and sustained no losses. He has pitched 66.2 innings, yielded 59 hits, fanned 69 and has a 3.91 ERA. |
