Setback for Boston and Taylor McLean Wednesday, May 21st , 2025 Taylor McLean was taking it slow and easy nursing a fractured foot back to good health, when he suffered a setback. According to a Boston team official, "Taylor was making excellent progress and it appeared he would return to the squad ahead of schedule. But then he reinjured it in a light workout." Club doctors now say the 23-year-old Whistlers left fielder will be out at least another 5 weeks. Taylor McLean is expected to undergo surgery in Boston(Massachusetts) tomorrow. Thus far this year, McLean has hit .342 with 5 home runs and 14 RBIs. |
