Season May Be Over for Mounties Griggs Tuesday, June 6th , 2023 Greg Griggs has to call it a season. The Vancouver Mounties second baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the San Francisco Fire and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Griggs was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a torn anterior cruciate ligament and stated that he would not be able to play for 6 months.
So far this season, Griggs has gotten 35 hits in 141 at-bats for a .248 batting average with 1 home run. His stats include 13 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has played in 45 games.
