Fire Matthew Little Injured: Day-to-Day Saturday, July 13th , 2019 The San Francisco Fire said it will be up to third baseman Matthew Little whether he plays or not. He suffered a day-to-day injury in yesterday's game against the Pittsburgh Phantoms and could be missing a few games. Little was hurt while throwing the ball and sustained back tightness. Team doctors told him it could up to 1-2 weeks before he heals completely. This season Little is swinging the bat at a .332 rate with 101 hits in 304 at-bats. To date he has hit 26 home runs, scored 50 runs and driven in 63. |
