Hitting Streak Still Alive for Wooldridge Sunday, June 30th , 2019 Steve Wooldridge of the Boston Whistlers has now hit safely in 20 straight games. He socked 1 hit in today's 9-1 triumph over Syracuse at Scorpion Stadium. "20 games is a big chunk of the year, isn't it?" Wooldridge said to reporters. "It's hard to wrap your head around." Steve Wooldridge grounded out in the 1st, struck out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th, singled in the 7th and flied out in the 9th. Wooldridge is hitting .336 so far this season with 31 RBIs and 22 runs scored. He has 50 hits including 11 home runs, 12 walks and .404 OBP. |
