Austin SP Sam Campos Injured Thursday, May 8th , 2025 Sam Campos of the Austin Desperados was injured in today's game against Cincinnati and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a ruptured finger tendon, and he is expected to be out for up to 3-4 months. It happened while Campos was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest.
