Captains Larrain Lost for Year Sunday, June 27th , 2021 Bill Larrain is doubtful to make the playoffs this year, according to sources within the Tampa Bay organization. Although the injury was initially thought to be not serious, tests have revealed the player will be out up to 6-7 months with a broken bone in the elbow. The 32-year-old second baseman suffered the injury running the bases in a recent game against the Indianapolis Eagles. This year, Larrain is batting .246 with 69 hits, 6 home runs, 29 RBIs, 26 walks, .314 OBP and has scored 39 runs. |
