Boston's Becker Down with Injury Tuesday, May 6th , 2025 Josh Becker of the Boston Whistlers was injured in today's game against Austin and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a sore shoulder, and he is expected to be out for up to 6-7 weeks. It happened while Becker was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." So far this year, Becker has been credited with no saves, registered a 5.14 ERA and struck out 9 in 7 innings. He also has a 0-1 record. |
