NC Names Best Player Monday, June 21st , 2021 It's always a thrill for fans of the team and students of the game alike when a superstar in the making shows what he's got. Brian Massey, the Vancouver Mounties 23-year-old first baseman, put himself in the spotlight last week making him the clear-cut choice for National Conference Player of the Week honors. He ripped 11 hits in 22 at-bats, compiling a .500 average with 2 home runs and 9 RBIs. For the season, Massey is currently batting .282 with 8 home runs and 30 RBIs. In 70 games he has reached base at a .362 rate and scored 38 runs to date. |
