Rosas Pops 3 Out of the Park Against Stars Thursday, May 11th , 2023 Manuel Rosas brutalized the Hollywood Stars pitching staff, launching three home runs in the 15-8 Philadelphia victory at Marauders Ballpark. The Philadelphia Marauders center fielder was red-hot, the ball just exploding off his bat all day. "I don't try to hit homers," he said later. "I try to go out there and put a good swing on the ball, and sometimes it is going to go out of the park. I didn't try to hit the first one or the second one or the third one." For the game, he went 3-for-4 with 7 RBIs and 3 runs scored. "Too much Manuel Rosas today," Stars manager Sean Simmers said. "That's my assessment of the game. That's what our problems boiled down to." Manuel Rosas hit a solo-shot off Chris Benson in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Rob Morgan in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and hit a three-run home run off Wade Vesperman in the 7th. Currently Rosas has 17 home runs and a .311 batting average. |
