Daniel Touches All the Bases, Hits for Cycle Friday, May 5th , 2023 If the Syracuse Scorpions didn't already know Eric Daniel was a great player, they do now. Daniel hit for the cycle at Hollywood Grounds, finishing with 4 hits, 2 runs batted in and 1 run scored in the 5-4 Hollywood win. "If you want to be considered a great player, you have to do great things," the first baseman said after the game. "I just did what I'm expected to do. Still, it's a nice accomplishment to add to the list." Eric Daniel tripled in the 1st, grounded out in the 3rd, singled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ken Allbaugh in the 9th, struck out in the 11th and hit an RBI double in the 13th.
