Giants Hurler Named May's Top Starter Tuesday, June 1st , 2021 The American Conference made it official today -- Danny Offen of the Detroit Giants is the Pitcher of the Month. In May he impressed the sportswriters with his domination of league hitters. Offen made 5 starts, registered 5 wins and no losses with a solid 1.47 ERA. In 36.2 innings he allowed 27 hits, racked up 24 strikeouts, walked 10 and permitted teams to hit .201 against him. To date this season, Offen has registered 11 starts, 8-2 won-lost mark, 2.13 ERA, 80.1 IP, 52 strikeouts and 26 walks. Opposing teams have hit .210 against him. |
