Injury Worsens, Return Delayed for Fleet Woodside Wednesday, April 26th , 2023 The San Diego Fleet announced today that Ed Woodside would be missing for longer than expected as the 23-year-old center fielder recovers from a sprained ankle. "Ed had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Fleet GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Woodside would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is one week more recovery time." Woodside is currently hitting at a .176 pace with 1 home run and 6 RBIs. He has played in 15 games and scored 9 times. |
