Royals SS Guzman Out Sunday, April 23rd , 2023 When Jorge Guzman was hurt against the Indianapolis Eagles, the Cincinnati Royals were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 33-year-old shortstop suffered a broken kneecap colliding with a player at a base in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Guzman would miss 4-5 months of the season. Guzman is hitting .145 this season with 2 home runs, 5 RBIs and 10 runs scored. He has 9 hits in 62 at-bats. |
