Boston RF Kirkham Will Miss 5-6 Weeks Thursday, April 10th , 2025 Willie Kirkham of the Boston Whistlers was injured in today's game against Chicago and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is a strained lat, and he is expected to be out for up to 5-6 weeks. It happened while Kirkham was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest.
