Phoenix-Vancouver Fight Results in Suspensions Tuesday, April 8th , 2025 After an intense confrontation, both the Gladiators Brian Shultz and the Caribou Sean Ryan were handed their punishments today. The league commissioner's office issued suspensions for an on-the-field conflict that occurred at a recent Phoenix-Vancouver game. Brian Shultz will miss 5 games, while Sean Ryan was suspended for 3 games. "Sometimes we go too far and have to pay the consequences," Brian Shultz commented later. "Hopefully cooler heads will prevail the next time we play." So far this year, Shultz has hit .310 with 2 home runs, 11 RBIs and 9 runs scored. To date this year, Ryan has fashioned a 3.86 ERA over 4.2 innings with a 1-0 record. He has made 6 relief appearances with 6 strikeouts and no saves. |
