Chiefs Deal Hovhannisian to Fire for Cruz Saturday, May 8th , 2021 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Chiefs announced today the acquisition of 21-year old minor league LF Alfredo Cruz and 23-year old minor league RHP Dave Harvey from the San Francisco Fire in exchange for 30-year old LHP Pat Hovhannisian and a 5th round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Chiefs, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." On the season, Hovhannisian has a 4-1 record with a 2.59 ERA. |
