Hansen Goes on Rampage Against Acorns Thursday, January 2nd , 2020 It was a hits blitz for Erik Hansen at Red Claws Ballpark today. The (PIT) Torreon Alligators right fielder tore into the (ME) Ocala Acorns for 5 hits in 5 at-bats, but it wasn't enough to win the game. The Acorns swept past the Alligators 10-3 to ruin Hansen's day. "We weren't locating our pitches well," (PIT) Torreon manager explained after the game. "Once you get behind in the count, you have to make really good pitches, rather than pretty good pitches, and we weren't able to do that today. Getting 5 hits from Erik was nice but it wasn't enough." Erik Hansen singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
