Nuts Snap Butler Streak at 0 Sunday, January 23rd , 2022 (IND) Mexicali Trojans second baseman Bobby Butler finally met his Waterloo. A 0-game hitting spree is now history after Butler was unable to make anything happen in 5 at-bats today against the (MX) Fullerton Nuts. Fortunately for Butler and the Trojans, the rest of his team had enough in their bats to win the game, 3-1. "We're a true team here," he said. "For 0 games I've been able to contribute, but I always believed these guys would take care of things if I couldn't some day." This season, Butler is hitting at a .355 pace with 3 home runs, 18 RBIs and has scored 14 times. |
