Jarka Hits in 4 Straight Games Thursday, January 23rd , 2020 Mitch Jarka has been on a tear for several weeks, and his hitting streak just keeps getting longer. The 21-year-old (OAK) Apodaca Gangsters center fielder extended his streak today to 4 games, going 1-for-4 as (OAK) Apodaca got the best of the (TOR) Hermosillo Spectres at Ballpark of Hermosillo, 8-0. "Mitch has been playing real well lately and we're proud of him," Gangsters manager said. Mitch Jarka doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, grounded out in the 6th, walked in the 8th and flied out in the 9th. Presently Jarka is hitting .429 with 13 home runs and 52 RBIs. He has played in 31 games and scored 39 times. |
