Consecutive-Game Hit Streak Continues for Butler Friday, January 21st , 2022 The (IND) Mexicali Trojans stopped the (HH) Tijuana Trappers, 5-2, and Bobby Butler collected a base hit yet again. The (IND) Mexicali second baseman finished with 1 hit to run his consecutive-game hitting streak to 1. "I want to get a hit every time up," a visibly excited Butler told reporters after the contest. "I want to get a hit every game I play. Right now, I feel like I could take this streak to 100 games." Bobby Butler doubled in the 1st, grounded out in the 2nd, grounded out in the 5th and was hit by a pitch in the 7th. So far this season, Butler is hitting .365 with 2 home runs. |
