Shipbuilders Chris Pokorski Hurt Wednesday, January 19th , 2022 A blow for Chris Pokorski today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 9 months with a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament. Pokorski suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the (SF) Newport News Shipbuilders are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Pokorski's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. To date this year, Pokorski has compiled a 3-1 mark with a 1.48 ERA in 6 starts. |
