Stanton Pitches Tunnels to Shutout Victory Wednesday, January 15th , 2020 (AUS) Norfolk Tunnels pitcher Byron Stanton did his job to perfection today, blanking the (NYN) Vallejo Shamrocks at Shamrocks Stadium. He scattered 1 hit while striking out 13 in the 4-0 shutout. "All I did was not allow any runs," he joked after the game. "I mean, technically, that's what they pay me to do, right?" This year Stanton has made no relief appearances, pitched 40.1 innings, and fashioned a 4-1 record with a 3.12 ERA.
