Frew Rips (SD) Guadalupe for 5 Hits Saturday, January 13th , 2018 5 hits in a game is a rare thing, but (ME) Ocala's Jimmy Frew made it happen today against the Cubs. Everything came together at the plate for the 21-year-old center fielder as he collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats -- and led the Acorns to a 14-5 win at Wrigley Field. "I'm just out there to try and help the team win," Frew said after the game, "I had some real good at-bats today. I made good, solid contact and luckily no one caught 'em." Jimmy Frew singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, walked in the 4th, hit an RBI single in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a two-run home run off Manny Martinez in the 9th.
