Alligators Starting Pitcher Salas Hurt Friday, January 18th , 2019 A blow for Alvaro Salas today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 5 months with a torn labrum. Salas suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the (PIT) Torreon Alligators are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Salas's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this year Salas has compiled a 0-2 record with a 5.40 ERA. |
