Cabriales Smacks 3 Out of the Park Thursday, December 16th , 2021 Today was a special one for Ruben Cabriales of the (DET) Amarillo Dynamo as he slammed three home runs in the 14-1 Dynamo win over the (TB) Ana Maria Island Herons. "Lately, I've been uppercutting the ball too much," he said to sportswriters after the game. "I would hit it hard, but they just went sky high and stayed in the ballpark. No big long outs for me in this game. I leveled out my swing and connected on the sweet spot. I knew they were gone the minute I hit 'em." The (DET) Amarillo first baseman collected 3 hits in 3 at-bats, drove in 5, and scored 4 runs in the contest at Ballpark of Santa Rosa. Ruben Cabriales hit a solo-shot off Quentin Dickson in the 1st, hit a two-run home run off Quentin Dickson in the 2nd, walked in the 4th and hit a two-run home run off Miguel Gomez in the 5th. |
