The (CHS) Jupiter Hammerheads took the 5-2 win today over the (CIN) Palm Coast Pilots, but the Pilots mound staff did what nobody else could -- they stopped the 8-game hitting streak of Hammerheads left fielder Ricardo Herrera. "We might have focused a bit too much on stopping Herrera," (CIN) Palm Coast manager commented afterward. "He had a nice hitting streak going, but the Hammerheads have other hitters and they did their job today." |
