Spectres Garcia Suffers Injury Sunday, January 9th , 2022 A blow for Marco Garcia today -- team doctors confirmed he will miss 7 months with a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. Garcia suffered the injury throwing a pitch. Although officials from the (TOR) Hermosillo Spectres are confident he'll make a full recovery, doubts will persist about Garcia's ability to return fully fit with an injury of this nature. So far this season, Garcia has logged a 1-5 record with a 7.85 ERA. He has started 9 games, hurled 28.2 innings and registered 6 strikeouts and 17 walks. |
