3-HR Binge for Riley Against (PHI) Orlando Friday, December 18th , 2020 It was a terrific day for Mark Riley, who ripped three home runs at Rage Ballpark, and a disappointing one for the (VAN) Nuevo Laredo Sunchasers who, nevertheless, dropped the game, 9-8, to the (PHI) Orlando Fire. "He was instant offense," (VAN) Nuevo Laredo skipper said. "Mark really put on a show. He more than did his part. We just didn't come through with hits at the right time to win the game." For the day, Riley collected 3 hits in 4 at-bats, scored 3 runs and had 7 RBIs. In the postgame press conference he told the reporters he has always liked to hit at Rage Ballpark. "I got some good pitches to hit and turned on them real good," he said. Mark Riley hit a two-run home run off Kevin Jaquin in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Kevin Jaquin in the 3rd, flied out in the 6th and hit a two-run home run off Scott Turner in the 8th. |
