Najera Bewilders Hammerheads, 7-0 Sunday, February 16th , 2020 In an outstanding outing, (OAK) Apodaca Gangsters starter Luis Najera tamed the (CHS) Jupiter Hammerheads with a 2-hit shutout at Gangsters Ballpark today. The (OAK) Apodaca hurler went the distance, finishing with 10 strikeouts and no walks in the 7-0 win. "He had a lot of first-pitch strikes and kept us off balance with a lot of off-speed stuff," according to (CHS) Jupiter manager Jon Greenberg. "We just didn't get too many balls squared up today." To date this year, he has registered no saves, 10 wins and no losses with a 2.15 ERA. Najera has made no relief appearances, worked a total of 71 innings and surrendered 47 hits.
