Dynamo Ray Gets No-Hitter Wednesday, February 2nd , 2022 (DET) Amarillo Dynamo starter Nate Ray came up big at Dynamo Ballpark with an exceptional 4-0 win against the (CIN) Palm Coast Pilots. Not only did he whip them, but Ray held them hitless, too. "My arm was a bit sore in warmups," confessed Ray. "Sometimes you go out there and you're not feeling all that hot. You get into the game and all of a sudden in the seventh inning you look up and see the scoreboard and think to yourself, 'Oh, my goodness, I have a no-hitter!' You're so focused on what you're doing, it just happens." In the course of the no-hitter, Ray collected 11 strikeouts and surrendered 1 walk -- a day good enough to get his name in the history books.
