The Hollywood Stars picked up a win at Gladiators Ballpark, courtesy of Logan Mayhew. The right-hander helped his team stop the Phoenix Gladiators, 3-1. Earning the save was Jason Hollenbeck. He's now cashed in 11 of 16 save opportunities. The last-place Stars hiked their record to 36-48.

Hollywood used a well-timed hit by Steve Taylor to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the fourth inning to put the Stars ahead, 3-1. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"Logan had good stuff. When he did get into a compromising count, he made the most of it," said Hollywood manager Alex Aguilera.
