Dragons Improve to 45-38 with 6-4 Win
The Dallas Dragons weathered a fine game by Halifax first baseman Josh Fitzgerald to upend the Heathens, 6-4, at Tennant Healthcare Ballpark. Fitzgerald went 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Gabe Calloway came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 2.2 innings. His record now stands at 3-0. The win gives Dallas a season record of 45-38.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Eric Brewer was at the plate when Dallas scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Dragons to go in front, 4-3.

"We just try to have good at-bats, whether we're winning, losing, or tied," said Brewer.
