Callahan Helps Nightmare Win, 10-4, with Pair of Homers
Ben Callahan had a 3-RBI game, during New York's 10-4 triumph over the Detroit Giants. Callahan contributed 2 singles and 2 home runs to the cause. Jose Contreras picked up the win, lifting his record to 7-7 on the season. He struck out 3 and walked 4 in 6.1 innings, while yielding 3 runs. The last-place Nightmare bumped their record to 34-49.

Callahan contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With a runner on 2nd, he hit a 2-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped New York get the win.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Callahan told the New York Daily.
