Aztecs Collect 6-3 Win Over Stars
Mexico City Aztecs starter John Manship found his groove in his team's 6-3 win over the Hollywood Stars. By defeating Hollywood, the second-place Aztecs improved to 48-34.

Mexico City used the timely hitting of Corey Cawley to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the tenth inning to put the Aztecs on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

In postgame remarks, Cawley simply said: "Here's to a great win!"
