Due in large part to catcher Bruce Richards, the Halifax Heathens sunk the Dallas Dragons, 5-1. Richards hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Miguel Berrios, the winner, is now 6-0. He struck out 10 and walked 1 over 6.1 innings, while allowing 1 run on 4 hits. Josh Harkey got the save, the 3rd for him this season.

Early in the game, Richards had a 2-run home run for Halifax. It was his 14th home run of the season and put the Heathens on top, 2-0.
