The San Diego Fleet rode a solid performance from 33-year-old starting pitcher Rodrigo Lemus to a win, beating the San Francisco Fire, 2-1, at San Francisco Grounds. Lemus, now 11-3, was the winner. In 6 innings, he gave up 4 hits, while striking out 7, walking 0, and allowing 1 run. Brad Antol earned his 12th save in 14 chances.
