Seago Stars in 8-6 Nightmare Win
The New York Nightmare beat the Detroit Giants by a score of 8-6. New York third baseman Nick Seago deserved the lion's share of the credit. Seago went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Nightmare. Earning his 19th save for New York was Jeff Groves. With this game in the books, New York is 32-49, Detroit 44-37.

Seago contributed a big hit, a grand slam home run, for New York in the top of the seventh. With his team trailing 5-2, Seago took a fastball from Julian Bryant and stroked the home run to right. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Nightmare to leap in front, 6-5.

"It doesn't matter if you're 10 games over .500 or 10 games under, it feels good to win," Seago told the New York Observer.
