Detroit Giants starter Julian Bryant turned in a top-notch performance against the New York Nightmare at Nightmare Stadium. The result was a win for the Giants, 5-2. The setback makes New York 38-43.

Detroit used the hitting of Ruben Cabriales to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Giants on top, 4-0. For the game, Cabriales had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Julian had himself a pretty good evening," said Detroit manager Sean O'Leary.
