Scorpions Handle Chicago, Snag 6-2 Win
The Syracuse Scorpions picked up a win at Scorpion Stadium, taking down the Chicago Gangsters, 6-2. Starting pitcher Juan Rosales was a big reason why. Ken Allbaugh, credited with the save, is now 20 for 26 in save opportunities. With the win over Chicago, the Scorpions improved to 38-43.

Ryan Mallory had a big run-scoring triple for the Scorpions in the bottom of the first inning. With Syracuse leading 1-0 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from 28-year old right-handed pitcher Arnold Novak and swatted a triple to left-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Scorpions ahead, 2-0.

"Juan is pitching with a lot of determination and a lot of fire," said Syracuse manager Josh Gifford.
