Fritz Powers Gangsters to 10-5 Win
|
The Chicago Gangsters bumped off the Toronto Trash Pandas, 10-5, at Trash Panda Field. Jon Fritz hit 2 singles and 1 double. He also had 3 RBI. Keith Kramer earned save number 13 this season. The second-place Gangsters now sit at 30-50.
Ken Castro delivered a big hit for Chicago. The left fielder drilled a grand slam home run in the top of the eighth inning to put the Gangsters ahead, 5-2. It was his only hit, but it was a beauty.
"The boys were really swinging the bats today," winning manager Antonio Valdez said.
