Mounties Walk It Off for 34th Win of Season
The Vancouver Mounties racked up a win at Mounties Field, bumping off the Charleston Shiners, 4-2, in 10 innings. Nick Douglass, who started for Vancouver, pitched effectively for his team. Vancouver reliever Allen Anderson picked up the win, upping his record to 3-5. Shane Kidd was saddled with the loss. After today's action, Vancouver sits at 34-45; Charleston slips to 51-28.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the tenth for Vancouver. That's when Kevin Schneider hit a 2-run home run off 21-year old left-handed pitcher Shane Kidd to win the game. The home crowd went wild.

"The crowd was raucous," said Douglass.
