Dallas registered a win at Nightmare Stadium by beating the New York Nightmare, 6-2. Pitcher Steve McClung was one reason why the Dragons triumphed. The triumph makes Dallas 26-53.

In the top of the fifth inning, the Dragons grabbed the lead when Jose Casas rapped a two-out single. Dallas was trailing 2-1, when Casas hit a 2-run single off Joe Schroeder to put his team in front, 3-2.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said McClung. "Successful pitchers do it."
