Dragons Stymied by Nightmare, Lewis
|
The home crowd had a good time watching the Dallas Dragons and New York Nightmare get after it.
The New York Nightmare racked up a win at Nightmare Stadium, bumping off the Dallas Dragons, 6-0. Dustin Lewis, who started for New York, pitched effectively for his team. The last-place Nightmare go to 31-48.
Lewis imposed his will on the Dragons, scattering 2 hits over 8.1 innings while striking out 11. The right-hander upped his season record to 5-6.
"Dustin set the tone with his ability to attack the hitters," said New York manager Joey Bishop.
