Stars Beaten By Invaders, 4-0
|
Oakland got a strong outing from Mike Walker as the Invaders defeated the Hollywood Stars, 4-0, at Howard Terminal. Hollywood has now lost 5 in a row.
The game was on the line with two out in the top of the seventh inning, but Luis Najera didn't flinch. With the bases loaded and Hollywood trailing 2-0, Najera retired Gus Duran to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Najera, with a wink.
