Scorpions Rally to Eke Out Win
Bobby Tapia was a major factor in the 8-7 Syracuse win over Cincinnati. The Scorpions third baseman was 4-6 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 2. The Scorpions sport a record of 29-49.

The game was at a stalemate until first baseman Tom Lusardi came to bat in the top of the 11th. Facing Cincinnati pitcher Colin Lambert, he hit a 2-2 fastball for a run-scoring single. It was a game-changer, putting Syracuse on top, 8-7.

"It's a satisfying feeling, to win like we did," said Lusardi.
