At Nightmare Stadium, the New York Nightmare and Dallas Dragons were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The New York Nightmare got a sterling performance from pitcher Jose Contreras, but the Dallas Dragons still prevailed, 6-3. Contreras threw 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball. Mike Braasch closed the door for Dallas, picking up his 12th save of the year.

The game was on the line with two out in the bottom of the seventh inning, but Mike Deadrick didn't flinch. With a runner on 2nd and New York trailing 3-2, Deadrick retired Nick Seago to end the threat. "Nothing to it," said Deadrick, with a wink.

Dallas has rattled off 5 straight wins.
